A sports card profit calculator for flips, breaks and show deals.
Before you buy, know your number. Enter what you’re paying, what the card realistically sells for, and what fees and shipping will eat. You’ll see what’s left.

- Selling fees
- $0.00
Margin = profit divided by the selling price. Blank fields count as 0.
This is an estimate for planning only. Actual fees, taxes and sale prices vary.
Get the sale price right first
The calculator is only as good as the number you put in it. A card’s value is what it actually sold for recently, not what sellers are asking for it. If you haven’t comped it yet, start with our guide on how to comp a sports card and match the exact year, set, parallel and grade.
Where profit disappears
Fees, shipping and supplies add up fast on cheaper cards. A $10 flip can easily turn into a loss once those come out. Run the numbers before you buy, not after.
FAQ
What counts as selling fees?
Whatever your platform charges per sale, usually a percentage, plus payment processing if it’s separate. Add them together into one fee percentage.
Should I use asking prices?
No. Use completed sales from the last few weeks. Asking prices tell you what sellers hope to get, not what buyers actually pay.
Does this work for lots or a whole collection?
It works for a lot if you enter totals. If you’re looking at a whole collection, it’s often faster to get an evaluation.
Sitting on more than a few flips? If you’ve got a full collection, get a collection evaluation. All evaluations are by appointment.
